Girls Night Out to Benefit Local Families

Ladies are invited to a fun night out to benefit local families. The Girls Night Out event will be held on Thurs., Feb. 16 at First Place Sports Bar in Hoffman Estates.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of HE Parks, the foundation that supports the Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) by raising money for families in Hoffman Estates that are financially unable to enroll their kids in youth sports, swimming lessons, camp, etc.

Tickets are $30 in advance, available at a park district facility online at heparks.org. At the door, tickets will be $35. Includes two hours of open bar, a dinner buffet from 7-9 p.m., a chance to win amazing prizes and Goodie Bags for the first 50 ladies. About the Friends of HE Parks

The Friends of HE Parks is a foundation of dedicated group of community volunteers who raise money so that more residents can participate in and enjoy recreational opportunities, regardless of their social, physical or economic circumstances and limitations. Studies have shown that physical activity and recreation are imperative to maintaining health. It is the mission of the park district and its foundation to promote the health and well-being of the residents in our district through our facilities and programs.

The Foundation strives to promote events that will raise money to help financially disadvantaged families of our community to enjoy park district programs and facilities through the use of scholarships and pre-paid programming.
