Images: It was a week for driving around and shooting pictures of life

Our photographers had a little time to look for feature photos last week and this is what they found

"All the leaves are gone, and the skies are gray," or so the song goes. And, for that reason I'd like to revisit this picture I took in mid October, when I was told that the leaves in our region were at their most brilliant. A few leaves still clung to our Autumn Blaze maple tree in the front yard that day as I began to wander with my trusty iPhone. Besides, who doesn't like a big beautiful leaf picture in the dead of winter? This photo was published in the Perspective column in the print edition of the Daily Herald.
