Bartlett library foundation announces Appeal Campaign for 2016-17

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation was established in 2000 as a means to enhance the materials and services the Bartlett Public Library provides for the use of the Bartlett community beyond funding available through property taxes and state grants.

The goal is $10,000 for the Bartlett Public Library District Foundation's 2016/2017 annual appeal. The foundation's fundraising helps provide financial support for the Bartlett Public Library's ongoing programs, materials, services and capital expenses.

In October, 2016, the foundation provided funds enabling the Bartlett Public Library to purchase 16 titles relating to women's health through its Patti Perkins Fund. This dedicated portion of the Foundation Fund was established in memory of a former Circulation Department manager of the Bartlett Public Library to provide library materials and programs relating to women's health issues.

The foundation accepts donations in any amount. All donations may be mailed to: Bartlett Public Library District Foundation, 800 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL 60103, or dropped off at the Bartlett Public Library.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization, enabling a tax deduction for those donating funds to the foundation. Gifts of $200 and more are recognized with a plaque on the Foundation Donor Wall, located in the entry lobby of the Bartlett Public Library.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation appreciates the assistance of the Bartlett community as the foundation strives to support the Bartlett Public Library - the Best Place to Learn and Discover - through educational resources, access to entertainment, and a vital connection to technology for the Bartlett community.
