Community meetings on paratransit

Community meetings regarding a paratransit services in Lake County will be held Jan. 17-19 at various locations. The study will evaluate the range of available services, identify gaps in service related to needs and recommend improvements. Meetings are: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, 2006 N. Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach; 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 17 at Waukegan Township Park Place Senior Center, 414 South Lewis Ave., Waukegan; 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Libertyville Township office, 359 Merrill Court, Libertyville; and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Wauconda Township office, 505 West Bonner Road, Wauconda. The meetings will be an informal format and representatives will discuss the study and answer questions on an individual basis.
