Wilmette Native Will Tilson Brings his Band to The Wilmette Theatre Feb 4 for a Night of Blues

The Will Tilson Band, fronted by 17-year-old Chicago Blues musician and Wilmette native Will Tilson, will perform Blues and Soul classics, along with original tunes Feb. 4 at The Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Ave. in Wilmette, beginning at 8 p.m.

The Will Tilson Band brings together Will Tilson on vocals and guitar, backed by a powerful rhythm section featuring pianist/organist John Kattke, Erik Hunter on Bass and Pretty Ricky Nelson on drums for a special night of Blues and Soul. The set will feature classics by Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Muddy Waters, and BB King along with original tunes, including Will Tilson's latest single, "Waiting on Yesterday."

Will Tilson has been generating quite a buzz in Chicago and beyond with performances with his band as well as solo appearances with legendary Blues artists Dave Specter, Corky Siegel, Sam Lay, Marcella Detroit and Jimmy Johnson. Tilson has also played at major music festivals, including The Chicago Blues Festival and the Neon Desert Music Festival in El Paso.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students in advance, and are available at the Wilmette Theatre box office or online at www.wilmettetheatre.com. Tickets are $25 at the door.
