Sidor, Jacobs earn FVC win

Carly Sidor scored 18 points and Maggie Grady added 8 Tuesday night to lead the Jacobs girls basketball team to a 35-29 Fox Valley Conference win over Prairie Ridge.

The win moves the Golden Eagles to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in the FVC.

Huntley 44, McHenry 39: Morgan Clausen (14 points) and Missy Moffett (8 points) helped Huntley (4-4, 3-1) to this FVC win.

Hampshire 32, CL South 23: Rachel Dumoulin had 11 points to lead Hampshire (6-3, 3-1) to an FVC win. Annika Sevcik led Crystal Lake South (2-7, 2-3) with 8 points.

Cary-Grove 47, Conant 36: Katie Sowa scored 21 points as the Trojans (6-5) won this nonconference game.

WW South 42, Batavia 32: Hailey Orman had 15 points, all on 3-pointers, for Batavia (5-5) at Lake Zurich's Exam Jamm Shootout.

Harvest Christian 40, Resurrection 38: Jenn Kasper had 13 points and Katie Kaldenberger added 9 to lead the Lions (7-3) to this nonconference win.
