Chicago Bulls send three to play for Windy City

The Bulls assigned guard Jerian Grant, guard R.J. Hunter and forward Paul Zipser to the Windy City Bulls on Friday morning. All three are expected to be available for Friday's game against the Canton Charge at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

Grant has played in one previous game for the Windy City Bulls and set the scoring record for the expansion franchise with 34 points against Delaware. Hunter has played in three games for the D-League team, averaging 17.7 points. Zipser, the Bulls' second-round draft pick, will be making his Windy City debut.

The Windy City Bulls (5-4) are without guard Spencer Dinwiddie (19 points, 8.1 assists per game), who became the first player in team history to be called up to the NBA when he signed with the Brooklyn Nets this week. Windy City has won 4 of its past 5 games, and Aaron Thomas has averaged 27.3 ppg in his last three games.

Quinn Cook led Canton (4-6) with 49 points in its win over the Texas Legends on Wednesday.
