Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 4 cents lower $4.0420 a bushel; December corn was up .20 cent at $3.4660 a bushel; DEcember oats was 4.40 cents higher at $2.1840 a bushel while January soybeans gained .60 cent to $10.2760 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .55 cent lower at $1.0850 a pound; January feeder cattle was down .98 cent at $1.2563 pound; December lean gained .73 cents to $.5640 a pound.
