The Sons of the American Legion will host a special holiday pancake breakfast with Santa open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.

Children will be able to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and get a picture with him for $5, or for $3 with the donation of a nonperishable food item.

The S.A.L. will be serving "all you can eat" pancakes and French toast along with sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, orange juice, coffee and milk.

Breakfast costs $8 for adults, $4 for children between 6- and 12-years old, and children under 5 years old can eat free.

The breakfast will be at the American Legion Hall at 122 W. Palatine Road in Palatine.
