Broadwind Energy nets $23 million in new tower orders

CICERO - Broadwind Energy announced $23 million in new tower orders, which will be produces at the company's Manitowoc, Wisconsin and Abilene, Texas facilities for 2017 delivery.

Details of the orders were not announced.

"We have booked over $250 million in new tower orders so far in 2016. Both of our tower manufacturing facilities are operating consistently and a good portion of our 2017 capacity is under contract," said Broadwind President and CEO Stephanie Kushner. "We are proud of the contributions our highly-skilled team is making to U.S. manufacturing and to the wind industry."
