District 211 earns 10th consecutive Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award

District 211 was recently recognized for its high quality Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending 2015.

For 10 years in a row, District 211 was awarded the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award. The organization recognizes school districts that meet its criteria for financial reporting.

While results for the 2016 fiscal year have not yet been finalized, it is anticipated that District 211 will remain one of approximately 60 Districts throughout the state of Illinois and one of approximately 535 districts nationally to receive the Certificate of Excellence Award.

ASBO International was founded in 1910, and is a professional organization of 5,000 members that provides programs and services to promote the highest standards of school business management practices, professional growth, and the effective use of education resources.
