TriCity Family Services' Snowflake Shuffle raises $20,000

TriCity Family Services' eighth annual Snowflake Shuffle was held Saturday, Dec. 3, at Mill Creek Golf Club and Subdivision in Geneva.

This year's event featured a record 766 participants and raised more than $20,000 in support of its programs and services.

Congratulations to the following winners:

• First place 5K male - Andrew Greif of Geneva;

• First place 5K female - Colette Murphy of St. Charles;

• First place 10K male - Ben Bocher of Naperville;

• First place 10K female - Amanda Obrist of Wheaton.

Wise Plastics Technologies in St. Charles won the largest team category with 90 runners.

TriCity Family Services has served the central Kane County region since 1967. It has grown in response to community need to provide a wide array of counseling, crisis intervention, early intervention, prevention and occupational services programs. The organization is committed to making the programs and services accessible to anyone who needs them. By operating under a sliding fee scale and offering scholarships for the group programs, they ensure that no one is ever denied services based on an inability to pay.
