Rochelle Zell Jewish High School Recognized Among Top Schools in America

(November 7, 2016, Northbrook, IL) Rochelle Zell Jewish High School (RZJHS) has achieved recognition as the Best Jewish High School in America and, for the second year in a row, the sixth Best Private High School in Illinois. These rankings recently were announced by Niche, the largest website for research and reporting of K-12 schools.

Rochelle Zell Jewish High School earned this ranking through its high scores in a variety of areas including SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges students consider and where students actually are accepted, as well as reviews from students and parents. The source of this statistical data for this ranking is the U.S. Department of Education; the data is then analyzed by Niche's team of data scientists to create the 2016 rankings. The school's philosophy is to nurture the whole student -- academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. A Conservative-affiliated Jewish high school, RZJHS is coeducational, egalitarian, diverse and committed to academic excellence, as well as personal growth. The school provides an open intellectual and religious environment in which questions, critical thinking, experiences, and relationships are nourished and fostered throughout Jewish and secular general studies. The fullness of Jewish life and learning are embraced, and Jews from across the denominational spectrum are welcomed.
