Grayslake library seeks opinions

Grayslake Area Public Library is seeking public opinion for the creation of hands-on learning spaces. Often known as "makerspaces," officials said the new areas would offer do-it-yourself activities to create, invent and learn. The library wants feedback from adults, teenagers, children, teachers, businesses owners and entrepreneurs on the tools, equipment and activities they would want in the collaborative community space. Survey participants may give their opinions in person at the library, by mail using a prepaid envelope sent in recent newsletter or online at grayslake.info. Those who complete the surveys by Friday, Dec. 9, will be entered to win a Kindle Fire tablet.
