Illinois needs to get smart

The recent November elections did much to show how much of the industrialized Midwest has come to it's senses in straightening out their economic and employment problems. Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania have all began to understand the need for fundamental change.

But alas, Illinois is still SOS (stuck on stupid). With the highest level of unemployment, highest debt, and highest level of businesses and residents leaving the state, more Democrats were elected to statewide offices. Leading this disaster is House Leader, and I use that term begrudgingly, Mike Madigan, who in two years, has found every excuse known to avoid meeting with the Governor on budget issues.

Illinois is bankrupt. not only financially but in shear Democratic will to begin to solve the issues.

It is stunning to see election after election of the same names and faces elected in Chicago and Cook County. Stupidity is defined as making the same mistake over and over. Illinois has proved it.

When the last can gets kicked down the road with Illinois problems, it is likely no on will hear the noise. They will all be gone.
