Stop by Conscious Cup's 'Ugly Sweater Party' Dec. 8

Conscious Cup, 5005 Northwest Hwy., Suite 101 in Crystal Lake, has created a specialty blend of coffee for Special Olympics Illinois. Proceeds from each bag sold will benefit local athletes in the area. To launch this campaign, the cafe is throwing an "Ugly Sweater Party" from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.

Tickets are $20 and include food and drinks. Guests will have the opportunity to try the new Special Olympics Illinois Big Dreams Coffee Blend specially crafted by Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters. Additional coffee beverages will be available for sale.

Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos will provide entertainment for the evening. The evening also will include a wine pull, silent auction and raffle.

All proceeds benefit the over 2,000 athletes who compete in Special Olympics Illinois Areas 13 and 18.

This is an opportunity from Conscious Cup to further build awareness for Special Olympics Illinois. The coffee will be sold in stores through Dec. 12 and then available through Special Olympics Illinois indefinitely. The bags feature different athletes from the area and include a note about their story and successes as well as the origin of this blend. Visit www.soill.org.
