Camardo (26 points) powers Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove 46, Wheeling 37: The host Bison got off to a winning start in Mid-Suburban East play behind a big scoring night from Mac Camardo.
He scored 18 of his game-high 26 points in the second half. Camardo finished with 11 field goals and went 4-for-4 on free throws.
Colin Calcagno had 8 points for Buffalo Grove (4-1, 1-0).
TJ Best led Wheeling with 14 points and had three 3s. DeShon Jacobs (12 points) and Jalen Dennis (11) also scored in double figures for the Wildcats (2-4, 0-1).
Rolling Meadows 75, Elk Grove 50: Jared Murphy (21 points) and Jack Schoessling (20 points) helped the Mustangs to their best scoring output of the season in an MSL East victory at Elk Grove.
