Salute Inc. holding Saturday fundraiser at Mount Prospect Ice Arena
The veterans support group Salute Inc. is having a fundraiser Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Mount Prospect Ice Arena, 1501 Feehanville, that will feature sled hockey and stand-up hockey with the Chicago Hornets and Mount Prospect police and fire teams, and high school hockey between St. Viator and Notre Dame. Events during the games include split the pot, silent auction, raffles and a bake sale. And 20 percent of food purchases at the rink's restaurant will go to Salute.
