Cops and Kids Needs Your Help!

The Elk Grove Village Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 35 has partnered with the Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove Village (a 501(c) 3 nonprofit) to provide gifts to children of families in need from School District 59 Elk Grove elementary schools.

The Program, called Cops and Kids, will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Each child will be given $100 to shop the Elk Grove Village Wal-Mart with a uniformed officer from the Elk Grove Village Police Department. Each officer will be donating his or her time for this special event.

Tax deductible donations are welcome and may be made payable to the Community Character Coalition. The amount of money received will determine the number of kids served. Donations may be dropped off at the Elk Grove Police Department. All donations go to the Cops and Kids program.
