Dec. 9: CLC Theatre department produces Shakespeare-themed student benefit

Audience members will step back in time to enjoy performances of Shakespeare monologues, scenes, sonnets and songs performed by CLC faculty, staff, students and community members. The celebration of Shakespeare's 400-year legacy will also feature audience participation, trivia, games, prizes and a dessert reception.

All net proceeds will benefit theatre student success initiatives such as sending students to the regional Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Indianapolis this coming January.

Co-hosts of the event are Craig Rich, theatre department co-chair and Liz Hernandez, president of the Center Stage Theatre student club.

Tickets: $12 general admission; $10 BOGO (buy one, get one free) tickets for CLC students (limit of two tickets per CLC student ID). For tickets, call (847) 543-2300 or visit www.clcillinois.edu/tickets. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 60 minutes prior to the performance in Room P101, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.
