McFun for Mac Arthur Middle School

On Tuesday, November 29nd, Mac Arthur Middle School held a very successful McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Mt. Prospect. The Mac Arthur Middle School McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Mac Arthur teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community the Mac Arthur Middle School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school, the staff was jumping right in to fill the important jobs to make the event a success.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. Twenty teachers and support staff worked from the school. Steve Lee, Principal, and Chris Alms, Assistant Principal, were helping to sell apple pies the entire night. The McTeacher jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and selling apple pies.

Mac Arthur McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. A highlight from the event was the amazing performances by the Mac Arthur Choir, Jazz Combo and String Group. The music flowed as the students performed holiday music. Special thanks to Megan Murray and Jonathan Boyer who conducted the students performances.
