Classes resume at O'Plaine campus

Warren Township High School officials announced the O'Plaine Road building in Gurnee will reopen for classes Wednesday.

District 121 officials canceled classes Monday at the campus for freshmen and sophomores when there was no water pressure to the building and nearby areas in Gurnee. They scrapped Tuesday's classes due to a boil order and an inability to use safe water in preparation of student breakfasts and lunches, as required.

Gurnee officials said a main break at O'Plaine Road and Grand Avenue led to the start of the problems Monday morning.
