Grain lower, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 6.40 cents lower $3.74 a bushel; December corn was down 2.40 cents at $3.3420 bushel; December oats was 2.60 cents higher at $2.02 a bushel while January soybeans lost 6.60 cents to $10.2540 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .40 cent higher at $1.1115 a pound; January feeder cattle was down .38 cent at $1.2805 pound; December lean hogs lost .28 cent to $.5075 a pound.
