Nominating Petitions Available: Bartlett Public Library District

Anyone wishing to run for the office of library trustee of the Bartlett Public Library District in the April 4, 2017, Consolidated Election may pick up Nominating Petitions at the Administration Department of the Bartlett Public Library District during regular library hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The library is located at 800 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett.

There are three library trustee seats to be filled at the Consolidated Election: Two full six-year terms and one expired two-year term.

Candidates seeking election at the Consolidated Election may circulate petitions no earlier than Sept. 20, 2016. Nominating petitions for library trustee must be filed with the library's administrative staff during the filing period, Dec. 12-16, 2016, during regular administrative office hours 9 a.m.-4 p.m. On the last day of filing (Monday Dec. 19, 2016) the filing hours are from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and live within the library district.
