ATA names Hub Group Trucking a Top 3 Safest Carrier

OAK BROOK - Hub Group Trucking has been recognized by the American Trucking Association as one of the three safest operating carriers within its division and category in the ATA's National Truck Safety Contest.

The criteria for judging was based on accident rate per mile for the 2015 calendar year, which equals total Reportable Accidents (as defined by the Department of Transportation) divided by total miles. The categories were determined by type of carrier (LTL, Flatbed, Tank, etc.) and mileage. The winners were honored recently in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the 2016 Safety, Security & Human Resources National Conference & Exhibition.
