Gosnell named Holmstad executive director

Amanda Gosnell has been appointed executive director at The Holmstad in Batavia, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit senior services providers.

As executive director, Gosnell is responsible for all operations at the 38-acre campus, which offers residential living, catered living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing care. She directs a staff of over 320 and reports to Joshua Anderson, Associate Vice President of Operations for Covenant Retirement Communities.

Gosnell has 10 years of progressive senior living leadership experience, most recently as regional director of operations for Sunrise Senior Living, overseeing a portfolio of nine independent living, assisted living and memory care communities within Illinois and Indiana. While at Sunrise, she also served as senior executive director and director of sales, respectively.

Gosnell holds a bachelor's degree in business/economics and sociology from Wheaton College.
