Ronald McDonald visits Geneva's Kensington School

On Tuesday, Nov. 22, Ronald McDonald stopped by Kensington School in Geneva to do his "Friendship Adventure" show.

He started off with the beat of a drum then added the sound of a guitar and then added a bass sound to show how things are better when you work together.

Ronald McDonald and the children played "Ronald Says" showing them how much fun it is working together. He also chose Denise Iwicki and Kelsey Vogeney both prekindergarten teachers at Kensington to help him dance to all their favorite dance moves.

During the show, Ronald incorporated ways to teach the children what bullying is and how to let an adult know about it if it happens to them or someone else. After show, he spent some time talking with the children.

Ronald's appearance was courtesy of the Geneva McDonald's owner/operator, The Lardas Family. For more information about events provided by the Geneva McDonald's, contact Julie Travers, community relations director, at Julie.Travers@comcast.net.

A special thank you goes to Debra Muscato at Kensington School for setting up this show. For more information about Kensington School, visit www.kensingtonschool.com.
