Fairview fifth graders pack meals for the hungry

The fifth-grade classes at Fairview School made a big difference for hungry children in the days prior to Thanksgiving break. Half of the classes visited Feed My Starving Children's Schaumburg location to pack meals on Nov. 21, and the other half visited Feed My Starving Children on Nov. 22. Over the two days, the Fairview students helped to pack more than 40,000 meals, which will feed 110 children for a year.
