Festival of Arts & Craft Show in Grayslake

Visitors to this weekend's Festival of Arts & Crafts found more than 300 booths of handmade gifts.

The three-day event gave visitors a chance to shop the 65,000-square-foot Expo Hall at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake for treasures, one-of-a-kind crafts and personalized items, holiday decorations and gifts offered by exhibitors from 11 states.

Items for sale include holiday decorations, carved wood, metal art, birdbaths, ornaments and yard art. The show continues Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Festival of Arts & Crafts had people out in droves spending money and pondering what to buy like Emma Garrett, 10, and her mom, Marie Reif, both of McHenry, who stopped in at the Lake County Faigrounds to enjoy the show. Mark Welsh/mwelsh@dailyherald.com
