Prospect Heights lights tree, welcomes Santa
Santa arrived on a fire truck for the Prospect Heights holiday tree lighting Saturday evening at City Hall.
Mayor Nick Helmer presided over the countdown for the tree lighting with the Scouts and the Saint Alphonsus School Choir singing carols.
Cookies and hot chocolate were furnished by the Prospect Heights Garden Club.
Prospect Heights Mayor Nick Helmer kicked off the holiday season by lighting the city's tree and welcoming Santa Saturday night.
