Grain mostly lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 2 cents lower $3.9820 a bushel; December corn was down .40 cent at $3.49 bushel; December oats was 6.60 cents lower at $2.1240 a bushel while January soybeans rose 12.40 cents to $10.3760 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 1.35 cents higher at $1.1080 a pound; January feeder cattle was up 1.63 cents at $1.2648 pound; December lean hogs gained .87 cent to $.5075 a pound.
