Streamwood Chamber of Commerce Names Businessperson of the Year

Steven Migala, a partner at Lavelle Law, was recently recognized by the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce as the 2016 Businessperson of the Year. Migala was recognized at the chamber's annual Membership Meeting and Banquet on November 17th at the Stonegate Banquet and Conference Center.

Migala has been active in the chamber for a number of years and chaired the annual golf outing this past summer. "The golf outing is an important fund-raiser for the Chamber," said Migala. "I enjoyed the experience and was happy to make a contribution to making the outing a success."

Migala was presented with the award at the dinner by Streamwood Chamber of Commerce President Robin Lingle. "It's important for leading businesses to take an active role in local chambers of commerce," Migala said. "At Lavelle Law we are involved in a number of chambers and I have enjoyed the opportunity to meet and work together with fellow Chamber members in Streamwood." In addition, Migala serves as a Commissioner on the Village of Streamwood's Planning and Zoning Board.
