Cook Home in Libertyville will hold public tours Friday

A long-standing holiday tradition continues with the opening of the Ansel B. Cook Home in downtown Libertyville for public tours from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, after the tree lighting ceremony. The home at 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., also will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 and 10, and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 and 11. Suggested donations are $2 for adults and $1 for seniors and students. Guided tours for groups of any size, on days other than public open house dates, can be arranged by contacting the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society at (847) 362-2330 or info@lmhistory.org.
