CLC Foundation plans more money for students:

The College of Lake County Foundation plans to make more money available to students in 2017. Karen L. Schmidt, foundation executive director, said the organization will provide $1.3 million for scholarships and grants to the college to award next year, up from the $1.2 million. Schmidt said the foundation raised nearly $1.4 million in the past year and has an endowment balance also of $1.4 million. CLC Foundation is a group that receives private donations to assist the public community college students.
