Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 5.20 cents higher $4.0820 a bushel; December corn was up 4.20 cents at $3.4620 bushel; December oats was .40 cent higher at $2.3540 a bushel while January soybeans lost .20 cent to $9.8920 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .53 cent higher at $1.0875 a pound; January feeder cattle was up .10 cent at $1.2503 pound; December lean hogs lost .30 cent to $.4715 a pound.
