Join the Central Kane County League of Women Voters and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning for an interactive discussion about the future of our region. The public forum will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.

Offer your input on: funding the transportation systems; supporting inclusive growth and equity; improving housing choice; managing flooding; preparing communities for climate change; ensuring conservation of natural areas; supporting tax policies that help cities serve residents; overcoming barriers to reinvestment; improving the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of local governments; prioritizing how and where to invest limited infrastructure dollars; and creating a modern and well-connected transit system.
