Dr. Whisenhunt's discussion covered the College's beginnings under the leadership of President Rodney K. Berg and Board of Trustees Chairman George L. Seaton through the decades of challenges and growth and the College's evolution into a modern, state-of-the-art institution that has provided instruction to more than one million students over the past 50 years.

Over the next year, the College will host on- and off-campus events to highlight the institution's robust history and continued service to students and District 502 residents over the past half-century.
