MCC offers forklift operator training program

CRYSTAL LAKE - The McHenry County College Workforce, Community and Business Programs is offering Forklift Operator Training for area businesses from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at UniCarriers Americas Corp. in Marengo.

Forklift Operator training provides participants with knowledge in Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) operation. They will gain the skills required to operate a lift truck in a correct and professional manner. Trucks covered are, ITA (Industrial Truck Association) Class 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The proper training of a forklift operator is not only critical for safety and production, it is also mandated by OSHA regulations. UniCarriers Americas presents participants with a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
