Friendship Station Preschool to host open house Nov. 14

Friendship Station Preschool will host an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14. This open house allows parents who are interested in enrolling their children in the 2017-18 school year. Parents are welcome to explore the classrooms and ask questions. Children are welcome to attend.

It is a joint program of Geneva Park District and Geneva Unit District 304. This inclusion program staffed by park district and school district employees is guided by the philosophy of learning through play.

In addition to 3- and 4-year-old programs, Friendship Station offers a five-day per week program at Western Avenue School. This new program is designed to meet the needs of children age 4 and 5 with previous preschool experience who may not be ready to attend all-day kindergarten.

Random processing of new students will begin on Feb. 8. Registration and payments will only be accepted at Sunset Community Center, 710 Western Ave., Geneva.
