Dickens tale told from Marley's side

Theatergoers can see Charles Dickens' Christmas classic from another side of the story when the Organic Theater Company of Chicago presents "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol" at North Central College.

The show follows Scrooge's former business partner, Jacob Marley, as he seeks redemption in the award-winning play by Chicago's own Tom Mula.

The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with matinees at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-11, in North Central's Meiley Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St., Naperville.

The Organic Theater Company's managing director, Josh Anderson, brings the story to life with the talents of returning company members Richie Gross, Colin Jackson, and Amy Powell, and Bryan Wakefield as the infamous Scrooge.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students and seniors. The performance is best suited for children 10 and older.

Tickets are available at www.organictheater.org or by calling (630) 637-7469. A $2 processing fee applies for online purchases.
