Learn Medicare options at Arlington Heights event

Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights is hosting two informational sessions this month about Medicare plan options to help Medicare enrollees better understand their plan choices.

Understanding Medicare is scheduled at 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, in the hospital auditorium, 800 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights. A second session is scheduled at noon, Monday, Nov. 14, in the auditorium.

During the sessions, healthcare benefits consultant IXSolutions will be on hand to help attendees navigate Medicare plan options, which could offer lower or no monthly premiums, reduced copays, medical and prescription drug coverage in one plan and access to a broader network of providers.

The Medicare annual enrollment period runs through Wednesday, Dec. 7.
