Northeastern Indiana man, 19, arrested in hit-and-run fatal

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A northeastern Indiana man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a bicyclist.

Nineteen-year-old Aaron Daniel Moser of Decatur was arrested Friday by the Allen County Sheriff's Department and booked on one felony count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in the death of 24-year-old Nicholas Mruk of Huntertown.

Witnesses also said that after Mruk was hit a second vehicle stopped and the driver put his bicycle inside before also leaving the scene.

The Journal Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/2fs9Bvx ) Moser is charged in Mruk's Oct. 31 death.

Court records don't list an attorney who could speak on Moser's behalf.

Police say Mruk was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. A coroner found he died from blunt-force trauma.
