Geneva library's Artist of the Month: Daniel Weinberg

Daniel Weinberg's art is an extension of his poetry, so he uses words as subjects, in particular the four letters he has written and had published in MAD Magazine from 2010 to 2016. His art is funny and political. He uses colored pencils and pen and ink to create his art.

The works will be displayed in the lower level Art Gallery during November at Geneva Public Library, 127 James St.

Daniel has had shows at the Intuit gallery in Chicago, and has had lessons from artists in Chicago like David Gista, Lisa Carter, and Ivan Brunetti

The library hosts local artists' work on a monthly basis. For information, contact Erin Wittry at (630) 313-1008, or email ewittry@gpld.org.
