Veterans Celebration and Breakfast held in Arlington Heights

The 5th annual Veterans Celebration and Breakfast hosted by the Veterans Memorial Committee of Arlington Heights was held Saturday morning at the Lutheran Home Chapel, 800 W. Oakton St., in Arlington Heights.

The event featured free breakfast for veterans and caregivers; a talk from the Road Home Program; a celebration and cake cutting by the Northwest Suburban Marine Corps League in honor of the 241st birthday of the USMC; a Soldier's Cross Ceremony by the color guard of American Legion Post 208; and the annual "Remembering Our Veterans" photo.
