Save-A-Vet to host spaghetti dinner fundraiser

Save-A-Vet will hold a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Dundee Township Senior Center, 665 Barrington Ave., Carpentersville.

Since its founding in 2007, Save-A-Vet, a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Lindenhurst, has helped raise awareness for millions of people about the need for adoption and rescue of military working dogs who are no longer able to serve.

All proceeds from this fundraiser are going toward renovations and improvements to make a safe and livable home for a veteran and two retired service dogs living locally.

Tickets are $10 or $5 for ages 10 or younger.

There also will be raffle prizes, bake sale and 50/50 raffle (winner need not be present to win). For details, visit www.facebook.com/DinnerandRaffle or call Angela, (224) 465-0206.
