St. Charles library offers 'Staying Positive in a Negative World'

Science shows that the average person thinks 60,000 thoughts per day with over 45,000 of those thoughts being negative.

The St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave., will welcome motivational speaker Tom Kens at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, for "Staying Positive in Negative World." In this program, Kens will use video, humor, drama and testimonies to share the 10 fundamental practices to help you maintain a positive attitude despite the odds.

Kens is a veteran of the armed forces and Healthy Living teacher at Moraine Valley Community College. He is a club officer and former president of Orland Park Toastmasters.
