One Book, One Village author visits Arlington Heights Thursday

Eric Weiner, author of the Arlington Heights "One Book, One Village" selection this year, will discuss the book with readers from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N Dunton Ave.

Weiner's book, "The Geography of Genius: A Search for the World's Most Creative Places from Athens to Silicon Valley," was read by hundreds of village residents this year as part of the annual One Book, One Village program.

The event will feature an interview with Weiner, conducted by Mary Luckritz, English and Fine Arts Division head at Rolling Meadows High School, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.

Earlier in the day, Weiner will visit Rolling Meadows High to speak with students.
