Ryne Sandberg, Eddie Vedder take center stage at Wrigley Field tonight

With the Chicago Cubs in need of some positive mojo as they try to stop Cleveland from clinching the World Series tonight, a pair of Hall of Famers will take center stage in the Game 5 lineup of stars selected to lead the ceremonial events at Wrigley Field.

First pitch: Former Cubs star Ryne Sandberg, a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, will throw out the first pitch.

Seventh-inning stretch: Eddie Vedder, the lead singer of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Pearl Jam, will sing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game."

TV: FOX will begin its live coverage at 6 p.m. CT, with the game starting at 7:08 p.m.

Double-duty: Wayne Messmer will sing both "God Bless America" and the U.S. National Anthem for Game 5.

Color guard: United States Coast Guard Marine Safety Unity of Chicago.

Game ball: Freddie Morales, 16, of the Union League Boys & Girls Club in Chicago will deliver the official game ball to the mound with Hall of Famer Andre Dawson.
