Ancient bathroom needs modern makeover

My bathroom is ancient, from about 1950 with the pink tub and old, cracked grout between the tiles.

I am unable to tackle this much-needed project without your help!

Design by Bath Planet Chicagoland

Budget: $3,000

The existing bathtub and tiled walls are outdated. The bathtub is pink, which is no longer a fashionable color in a bathroom. The tile and grouted walls can be a maintenance nightmare, as grout is very porous. Tile and grout are also prone to looking dingy over time.

Suggestions:

• Bath Planet would remove the old, outdated pink bathtub and install a new white bathtub.

• We would go over the existing tile with one of our acrylic wall systems in a modern style, such as a granite look with a simulated tile pattern.

• We would also install a new tub faucet spout and shower head and replace the old grab bars with new ones to match the new faucet.
