Wheaton Holiday Housewalk supports show choir

The Wheaton Holiday Housewalk will return this year to feature four north Wheaton homes decked out for the season.

The third annual event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. For information, visit wheatonholidayhousewalk.com.

The walk offers something for all participants, whether they love historic, new or Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired homes. Participants receive guided tours of the homes, which are decorated by local Wheaton/Glen Ellyn businesses. Wheaton North High School's award-winning show choir, Flight, performs holiday carols throughout the day.

All proceeds benefit Flight. Flight is an auditioned, competitive choir composed of more than 50 performers and a 10-piece band. The group competes all over the United States and is frequently awarded high honors including best soloists, best choreography, best vocal sound, and Grand Champion.

Tickets for the housewalk are available at local businesses including Wheaton's PS Flowers; Carlson's Paint, Glass and Art; Egg Harbor; Ivy; and Café K'tizo, as well as at Marcel's in Glen Ellyn. Wheaton North Flight members also will be selling tickets for the event and they may be purchased in Wheaton North's front office.
